"Nice new building with a lovely pool and pool deck. Only downsides were: it was a fairly long hike north or south to the nearest towns. So be prepared to walk unless you have a car. Kitchen was missing some basics. I would also suggest a few more amenities in the suite such as a few books to share; an info sheet on things like the wifi code, what to do with garbage, etc. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay."

"Very good location. Our host responded very quickly to our questions. My only constructive criticisms are, salty water in tap water, thinking maybe water softener is turned up too high causing salty water. Hair dryer would be nice. We loved the space, cleanliness and overall location of the property and would definitely consider staying there again."

The location is nestled in a community that is perfectly placed on the beach between 2 towns-each a short walk to restaurants & shopping. "We had stayed in a studio last year and returned this year with family. We stayed at Amanda’s condo for a week in November. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo. Lots of room for 4 adults, air conditioning worked well, very clean& comfortable beds.It was a perfect holiday. Great location- easy walk to the beach and La Penita. Bit of a hike to downtown Guayabitos but as doable. Judith was available to answer any questions we had. Would love to return to Guayabitos & Amanda’s condo again next year"

"Insanely beautiful house and view. I can’t say enough about this rental. It’s as gorgeous as the pictures. The staff is onsite and very helpful. It’s a bit of a walk in town but didn’t stop us. The subdivision is lovely. Bed was lovely, shower had hot water, necessities were there…….everything is as pictured. Sat in the 2 rocking chairs for 10 days!! Thanks to all."

"Fue mi primera vez visitando la peñita de jaltemba, reserve mediante Expedia y resultó fantástico, todo muy bien desde las camaristas, hasta los recepcionistas la gente del restaurante sin duda alguna volvería a ese lugar muy recomendado, cuartos muy bien super limpios y con lo básico para no querer salir del hotel, su alberca que tiene un toque salado primera en su existencia que veo me super encantó el hotel"
