Chacala is definitely off the beaten path. The streets are rough and the shops are limited. However, the beach is terrific. The people are friendly and the pace of life is lovely. The Casa. Rosie takes great care of you. Room really nice with comfy King Bed. She provided extra touches like French press for coffee, extra pillow for me, for scat up to use the little kitchen in the parking area, and let us book an extra night. Convenient location too.

The property was very well looked after. If there was anything not working or not quite right or you needed something for the kitchen, for example, the managers Sandra and Carlos were on it. We weren’t told how bad the road to enter was. Dirt, broken cobblestones, large mud puddles and deep ruts. Most places room for only one car. Took 20 minutes to go 2 miles. Wi-Fi is always going out so if someone wants to work, good luck. We were told someone would meet us at the gate. When we finally ...
