"The community area is quite lovely but getting to your room is difficult with elevator/stair situation carrying your bags, etc. Hotel layout is confusing other than the first floor. We chose this hotel partly because of advertised spa but it was broken. Should have disclosed. Not to be so negative, we enjoyed our stay. Great staff, breakfast, clean room"

"Ideal location for my wife and I. Super quiet, almost too quiet as u can hear pine cones or acorns hitting the deck or rooftop thinking their might be someone else on the property. But it was just mother nature doing her thing. Wish we could have a fire pit outside, but that has nothing to do w the homeowner, just the city of big bear. Makes no sense. Also the city of big bear shuts power off at the sight of a storm in the area, so be aware of that. Maybe thats why there is SO many candles thru out the house. Hot tub was nice, plenty of cookware, blankets etc. Small ant problem near kitchen sink, found spray under sink and took care of that small situation. Thanks for everything "

"Great little spot with everything we needed. We were able to walk to some trails from the home, and it was a short drive to restaurants, the village, and the lake. The hot tub was amazing at night! "
