  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Amazing stay

It was just perdect. Starting with a warm welcome, an amazing and relaxing place, close to sites for lovely walks. The host was very kind and gave us advice on absolutely gorgeous town to visit and not to miss. The food was very nice. And learning about the Alpaca was the extra. We both enjoyed our stay so much, so did our dog who was ready to stay there! Lol. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!

Welcoming and Cozy a true Gem

My husband and I were traveling in the Southern region of France and read the reviews and we are so thrilled that we decided to book here. We arrived late in the day from our travels and unfortunately missed out on dinner at the Inn but Lynn and Richard welcomed us just the same. They also gave us a sweet card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We had a very nice room at the top of the stairs that was very comfortable and well appointed. After a great night sleep, my husband and I had a nice continental breakfast of fruits, pastries jams/jellies with comforting coffee while watching the Moms and baby Alpaca's roam around the property. They do have a hot tub you can relax in but we didn't get to enjoy it as we arrived too late and tired. Also a pool but it wasn't pool weather. My husband, a vintage car buff had such a great pleasure and a real treat talking with Richard and his father (a former car racer himself)! The property is truly beautiful and so welcoming. I would 100% recommend to stay here and enjoy comfort, tranquility and great hosts!

Fabuloso. Volveremos.

Pasamos una noche en ruta hacia España pero volveremos. El B&B está impecable. Con piscina y libertad de horarios para bañarnos y cenar. Tienen un área para hacer barbacoas y fogatas en el jardín y poder ver las estrellas y la atención fue maravillosa. Además, la zona, el Périgord Vert, es una auténtica joya. El desayuno, francés, muy bueno.

Un bel endroit avec B&B tenu par un couple sympathique. Chambre propre, confortable et bien équipée et bon petit déjeuner. Vraiment apprécié de rencontrer les alpagas. Friendly hosts greet guests at their abode in the middle of nowhere. No A/C and plenty of stairs, pleasant pool, average breakfast. Outstanding restaurant in hotel in Coquille.

The best b&b I’ve ever been! Everything was so nice and clean, the room was warm enough. I was worried about the bathroom and facility since the b&b is in countryside, but everything was so new and also the hot water was so good. The alpacas was so cute, the front yard has breath taking view, the hot tub with full of stars, the breakfast and dinner especially the dessert was more than perfect. Lynn is a great cook! Lynn is so warm and sweet owner, I can’t forget all the memories with you. She was at the house when we needed something, so helpful. I can feel how she care about the b&b and the guests. No matter who you are with, it should be the best choice of France!

Great Place & Location
