Top Challen Reserve Hotel Reviews

DoubleTree by Hilton Auckland Karaka

10/10 Excellent

"very nice , clean comfortable rooms , staff were amazing and helpful , highly recommend & would stay again"

Beautiful 2 bedroom house

10/10 Excellent

"Thank you Amar and Jaz. We had a lovely stay. The place was peaceful, spotless, and exactly as described. Communication was excellent — clear, timely, and genuinely helpful. Everything felt easy from start to finish, which made the stay even more relaxing. It’s become our go‑to place whenever we need accommodation in Auckland, and every stay has been consistently excellent. I rated every category as “Excellent” because the experience met and exceeded expectations. Highly recommended."

Motel Homestead Papakura

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good ventilation along with heat pump for heating. We enjoyed our stay."

Carnoustie Calm- A Cosy Wattle Downs Home

10/10 Excellent

"Great place for a family. The check-in process was smooth, and communication was transparent. Would stay here again in the future."

SJ House easy access to the Airport and two minutes walking distance to the Mall

8/10 Good

"It was the perfect place, in the perfect area for our Convention. Great shops and variety of eating places, loved the ER Burger place...great burgers and crispy chips. Really lovely place to stay, a treat to be in a new place. Didn't mind the trains. Thanks for having us stay. Will stay again."

Krishna Motel

8/10 Good

"Clean and tidy no rubbish bin very bad drip by window as it was raining unit 6 back window"

Kapia House,Great location for Airport, Botanical Garden, Town Centre.

10/10 Excellent

"New, clean property with some good amenities (heated towel bars, bathroom mirrors with ambient lighting, cozy doonas, easy parking). Washer only, no dryer. There's a clothesline but it was raining, so we used the hangers from the closet on the garage door rails to hang clothes to dry. If you're visiting in winter, run the downstairs split system to warm the whole house. Train line is *right behind* the property; so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs.Close to shops. Super busy entertainment precinct including cinema, games, restaurants, etc. We loved the Majestic Cafe nearby.Host was super responsive with answers to our questions and also changed the battery on the front door lock. We learned if it's playing a song when you open it then it's needs a new battery! We booked it because we needed at least 3 bedrooms, location was easy to the airport and closer to Hobbiton. But we ended up doing more in the Auckland CBD and the traffic was shocking. Train station to city is a 15 min walk - we didn't give that a try, but probably should have!Overall a lovely property and a great stay."

Papakura Pioneer Motor Lodge and Motel

8/10 Good

"A very reasonably priced motel. It was warm, clean and tidy with a good shower, sky tv and free wi-fi. It exceeded my expectations at the price."

Beautiful 1 bedroom house

10/10 Excellent

"A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful."
