"The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise...

"This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"

Et pour le dîner vous êtes obligés de faire au minimum une quinzaine de kilomètres pour trouver. Mais en dehors de ça se fut un vrai plaisir, j'y retournerai."

"The cottage was like a house with beautiful interior. 2 big sleepingrooms and 2 clean well designed modern bathrooms. A great outside tarrace with view on the castle and hills. The house was all to a very high standard, everything you need is there. The breakfast was good and lovely presentated. The owners are extremely nice, the only note we have is that perhaps it would be easy if the spoke a little English 😉. We had a wonderful stay."

Very functional living room & kitchen - super important when you are in such a little village in winter, as all restaurants were closed by 8pm. You need to cook! Well equipped. Only thing missing, to my view, is a dish washer. It would be so much nicer if we did not have to wash everything by hands.
