"First of all the adobe is historical and old! But redone in an extremely tasteful way! Exposed beams and a fireplace. We sat outside after 10pm and the star gazing could not be beat! We saw a shooting star and then we heard coyotes sound off - the whole mountain experience came together. In the morning it was coffee on the patio and we watched elk. We could hear the cows and saw the horses from the working ranch around us. All in all, a wonderful time!! Thank you so much!!"

"Wonderful home with wildlife views from the back porch multiple times per day. If you are looking for peace and quiet while still being close enough to town amenities…stay here! Great for couples and families without question! Large home but layout makes it feel cozy BUT the back of home windows make for the best view."

"This place is a little off the main road but extremely worth it once you’re there. The house is very comfortable to just lounge around all day in if you want but the best part is the outdoors. The creek and valley views are awesome - even better while relaxing in the hot tub. We had a blast staying at this house and would definitely do it again in the future!!!"

"The house was really nice just had some concerns about ice in carport which I felt was a safety issue for mature adults over 70.we had no communication with property manager during our stay. We did fix television in master bedroom which had apparently been mentioned in an earlier review as not working."

Plenty of room, beds, games, eating area, etc. The views are beautiful with views of mountains, the San Juan River from a wooded mountain setting. "Stayed at the barn house during spring break and it did not disappoint. The house has a very homey feel and does not lack for anything if you’re staying multiple nights. The kitchen is fully equipped for family dinners or for us a party of 2. We spent our mornings on the back patio drinking coffee and enjoying the wild life and our nights in were in the living room by the fire.
