"I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in the Loire for a family of 4. The house is a perfect mix historic but with modern updates. Very comfortable and well appointed. The design decisions were thoughtfully made. Beautiful windows and doors and amazing views. Claude and Francine were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. It was the highlight of our trip to France. "

"We had a wonderful time at this location, seeing hot air balloons each evening overhead, eating meals outside, swimming in the pool, and enjoying the wine from the organic vineyard next door. The building is well maintained, historic, and quiet. The location is excellent for accessing chateaus, biking trails, markets, and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful with information about the area. Highly recommend!"

"This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. The cottage was comfortable, warm and suited our needs as a couple. Deborah provided easy instructions and a warm greeting when we arrived. St Aignan has enough facilities, including food options. We most enjoyed shopping just outside our door on Saturday and then having a home cooked meal that night. If you...

"Both immersed into the nature and easily connected to any of the surrounding attractions (e.g. the many castles, the beautiful Beauval zoo, etc.), the accomodation has anything an average family with children could desire. Definitely recommended!"

"This rustic bed and breakfast in the rolling farmlands near Loches was great. It is not a modern hotel, so if that's what you're looking for go elsewhere. The grounds are beautiful and serene. Maryvonne Baillou is a gracious hostess who provided great information on local must-see spots. The furnishings are truly antique while the mattresses are modern.
