"Beautiful place to stay with outside terrace and bar. The spa was lovely, although the pool a little cold The bar and terrace was closed the second night we were there for a private function, disappointed we wouldn’t use it and no other provision was made for residents to have a drink. There is a large restaurant area and some of this could have been used. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pierre et Vacances in Loches. The apartment was clean, quiet and quite spacious (for the 2 of us) and we had a nice balcony overlooking the town. The parking was very good and it is a few minutes walk into the town where there are several places to eat."

"We hadn't had a proper holiday break for a few years now, and found this property through vrbo. We managed to fully switch off for the week, in what is a wonderful property, a few minutes walk from the town centre yet in a very quiet location. Actually, the whole town is quite quiet, which is no bad thing if you want to switch off, yet it has what you need and it has excellent access to the area- we hired a car (recommended), did a chateau or two, a vineyard or two and walks from the town out in to the countryside. and parking outside or near the property is easy. The property is very comfortable and the courtyard garden provides peace, tranquility and shelter from the heat, and a pretty good view of the castle keep. The host is lovely and was very helpful. Get some of her husband's honey from the market (Saturday/Wednesday mornings). All highly recommended. Would love to return. "

"We had a great week at this property in July. The setting is really incredible with the river and the weir for private swimming. The rope swing kept our 15 year old (and the grown ups) entertained and was great fun. Our dog also had an amazing week swimming in the river! The house is in a very peaceful setting and nearby Loches has some nice restaurants and a good market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Philippe, the host, was very friendly and great communication before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you have teenagers as the river swimming is way more exciting than a pool!"
