"The room and bathroom were spacious and mostly clean aside from the sliding door track Excellent view of the water and close to everything in town Appreciated the hot beverages, yogurt and donut for bkft Did not like the lack of stairs down to our room with our suitcases"

"Breakfast was very expensive but there was no option to have something light like coffee and a muffin. The hallway needed to be vacuumed the entire time we were there, for the price I would think clean floors would be the minimum. The staff was very friendly."

"Place is a bit dingy - stale smell in halls (but, hey, it's an old historic hotel). Price a bit high for quality - friend's air conditioner held up by wooden boards. Lots of raucous drinking in bar below (but not rowdy or unpleasant). However, right downtown - next to fabulous restaurants - and possibly the friendliest, kindest staff we've ever encountered."
