"This unit is in a great area of Périgueux, just across the river from the centre of the city. I loved the location as it was an easy walk to the cathedral and the market held in that part of town; there are restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops near the cathedral; an easy walk to the Intermarché for my supplies; an even easier walk to a wonderful patisserie/boulangerie (try the croissant for sure, the best I have had in a long time). "We thought this place was wonderful. The living/dining room was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a balcony looking over the ruins of the nunnery and the town. Bed and bath were very nice, and I appreciated the washer. Caroline was helpful, and brought peaches from her garden: delicious. One caveat: 2nd floor means "climb 2 long flights of stairs"."

Il y a juste deux points négatifs le premier et qu’il n’y a pas Internet et ça je ne sais pas comment on peut aujourd’hui faire sans Internet. Ça a été très compliqué pour moi même pour téléphoner dans la rue il n’y a pas de connexion c’est très difficile et ensuite la vue sur la prison c’est pas top top top mais sinon très bien. "

"Pas grand mais pour 2 ou 3 nuits pas de problème. Bien équipé avec coin cuisine, une petite vaisselle, machine à café et chauffage/AC. Première étage - on y accède par un escalier en colimaçon très étroit qui peut être très délicat pour les personnes âgées ou handicapées.Pas de parking avec ce logement, mais il y a du parking gratuit à 5 minutes à pied.L'annonce pour cet appartement à l'Abritel dit qu'il accepte les animaux de compagnie, mais ce n'est pas vrai! "We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms, listing details said two bedrooms. There was only the one seperate bedroom with a double bed and a travel cot. The Sofa bed was in the lounge area. It was not a problem for us but could be if you really need two seperate bedrooms. It was lovely and clean throughout and the front terrace was a lovely sunny spot all day! Our host, Fred was lovely, very discreet but available if we needed anything."

"This was our second time staying at the apartment. It is well located - easy walking distance to E. Leclerc supermarket and to the Wednesday and Saturday markets where you can buy cheeses, fresh produce, nougat, etc. Great location for visiting Sorge, Monbazillac , etc. About an hour’s drive to Sarlat. Very good communication with hosts- you may need to use Google translate if your French is limited. Great value for the location and amenities. An older apartment. We would stay again."
