"Owner was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. Historic Inn 1850.s But One small detail not the fault of the owners. The property is on a hilltop overlooking the city of St John. There is a freight train line down below the hill where three trains in the middle of the night blew loud and i mean loud repeated train whistles. As the B & B does not have AC we had windows open for cool air and our sleep was disrupted and disturbed!! Nothing to do about this except stay elsewhere or keep windows closed. Not sure even that would help"

"The staff at the front desk at check in were fabulous.. Even the next morning day time staff were great.. Room was huge and clean Loved the pool and hot tub.. Only thing is it lacking is an elevator.. carrying luggage to second floor was not easy with bad knees .. I didn’t realize there was no elevator.. but the checkin staff helps us with our luggage.. a huge thank you.. Otherwise it was a great place to stay!"
