Great Value and Excellent Staff

We had a great stay at Flamingos. Our apartment was clean, spacious and we had plenty of room. Some parts of the venue are a little tired and the bathroom could do with some refurbishment but overall, for the price, we were very happy. We arrived late after the reception had closed but the hotel staff made sure we knew how to access our apartment. The beaches are just a few minutes walk away and there is a small shop nearby too. The town is a short taxi ride away

Flamingos apartment complex is close to the beach, a short walk to a bus stop to take you to Chania, 15 minutes walk away from two supermarkets and there are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The complex is thoughtfully designed and kept beautifully. Every morning a team of ladies would be sweeping and cleaning the paths. Our apartment was looked after by a lovely lady called Louisa. The sheets and towels were changed every few days and the apartment cleaned everyday. We had an apartment with a beautiful terrace that we spent as much time on as we could - it was quiet and breezy and had fantastic views of the sea and the White Mountains. Our apartment was large and the beds were comfortable. The staff were brilliant at Flamingos - always happy to help.

Very helpful and friendly hotel staff who went over and above to ensure we all enjoyed our holiday. The service and standard of accommodation was first class and I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as an excellent choice for a family holiday. A number of excellent beaches and good tavernas are all within a few minutes walk.

Unser Aufenthalt im Flamingos Hotel war leider enttäuschend. Das erste Zimmer, das uns zugewiesen wurde, war in sehr schlechtem Zustand: Die Möbel waren stark veraltet, viele Einrichtungsgegenstände defekt und die Stromleitungen wirkten unsauber und wenig vertrauenswürdig. Nach unserer Beschwerde wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer angeboten. Dieses war zwar etwas moderner, wies jedoch ebenfalls zahlreiche Mängel auf – auch hier waren mehrere Dinge beschädigt oder funktionierten nicht richtig. Das Frühstück war insgesamt mittelmäßig. Brot und Brötchen waren nicht frisch, und auch die übrigen Speisen konnten geschmacklich nicht überzeugen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Umgebung: Die Strände in der Nähe sind wunderschön und es gibt einige sehr gute Restaurants in der Gegend, die den Aufenthalt zumindest außerhalb des Hotels angenehm gestalten. Besonders irritierend ist die Bewertung von 8.9 bei Expedia die wir in keiner Weise nachvollziehen können. Auch die Bilder auf der Buchungsseite entsprechen nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Ich kann das Flamingos Hotel aufgrund der Zimmerqualität und des mangelhaften Frühstücks leider nicht empfehlen.

Hôtel bien situé, extérieur propre et proche de la plage, ce qui est appréciable. Cependant, les chambres sont loin d’être à la hauteur : mobilier vétuste, problèmes d’évacuation des eaux, frigo hors service utilisé comme placard, forte odeur d’humidité. Après réclamation, le personnel a été réactif en me proposant une chambre supérieure avec petit-déjeuner inclus pour la deuxième nuit, ce que je salue. Malheureusement, la nouvelle chambre manquait de chaleur : mobilier minimaliste, acoustique désagréable, rideaux non occultants, décodeur TV fixé avec du scotch… et TV non fonctionnelle. Au final, une expérience décevante malgré l’emplacement et le professionnalisme du personnel. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Siisti ja kiva

Erittäin siisti huoneistohotelli. Idyllisiä pieniä yksityiskohtia ja koristelua ympäriinsä sekä paljon kukkia pihalla. Meillä oli luksushuoneisto, joka oli rempattu katosta lattiaan. Kunnon suihku eikä mikään kylpyamme! Allas oli kiva ja vesi sopivan lämmintä. Aamiainen ihan kohtuullinen Kreikan tasoon nähden. Paras sänky missä Kreikassa olen tähän asti nukkunut. MUTTA muut halvemmat huoneistot olivat sitten eri luokkaa. Osa luultavasti aivan alkuperäisessä kuosissa ja osa siitä väliltä. Sängytkin niissä enempi sitten kovempia Kreikan tyylisiä. Hotellin kuvista kyllä saa hyvän käsityksen siitä kuinka suuria huoneistojen erot ovat. Tilavia kaikki huoneistot olivat mitä näin. Meidän matkaseurueella oli kaikilla erilaiset. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä. Ruokapaikkoja lähistöllä, samoin upeat rannat. Harmi vaan kun pikkukalat näykkivät jalkoja. Pilasivat koko meressä uimisen ihanuuden. Suosittelen Flamingos hotellia ja voisin mennä uudestaan, mutta valitsisin uudelleen luksushuoneiston sänkyjenkin vuoksi sillä huonoselkäinen kun olen.
