The staff were very welcoming and lovely. The room was clean and stocked with treats, the spa was sensational, and the meals were great. We did ask for our room to be cleaned and only the bed was made - they did not remove used drink glasses, wipe surfaces, or replenish the coffee pods for our espresso machine. But the drinks were strong, the pool was gorgeous, and overall very happy with our experience!

Wow—what a fabulous week! A stay at Aulus leaves you feeling calm, rested, and completely relaxed. The rooms are beautiful, and the grounds are stunning, with breathtaking views—especially at sunset. While the setting itself is exceptional, it is the people who truly make this hotel stand out. We did experience a few teething issues with our original room (202), which lacked privacy and was overlooked by the evening bar. However, this was quickly and professionally resolved by Mimis and Demetri, who handled our disappointment with genuine care and arranged for us to be relocated. A special mention must go to Tom at the pool bar, whose warmth, energy, and infectious enthusiasm brightened every day. Eva in the Island Restaurant provided wonderful service throughout our stay, and Vanjo crafted some truly fantastic cocktails at the evening bar. The kindness, professionalism, and respect shown by every member of the team made a lasting impression. From our arrival to our departure, the team consistently took the time to greet us, ask how we were enjoying our stay, and ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Their commitment to hospitality genuinely enhanced our enjoyment of the resort. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Mara, who was there to wish us a safe flight home and warmly invite us back for another visit. Aulus is a beautiful resort, but it is the people who make it unforgettable.

I going to start with the positives. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly they couldn’t do enough to help. I want to mention Demetri, he was our ‘go too’ member of the team. Any issues we had he sorted and went above and beyond. Now the negatives. The sun bed issue is just simply not acceptable. There are not enough beds to accommodate all the guests. Therefore there was a morning rush to secure one. We had to be there before 8am to get one. We repeatedly complained about this and were repeatedly given the hotels stock answer’ there are more beds at the quieter pool and on the beach. However these locations didn’t offer the full poolside service! ‘We do monitor if beds have been left longer than half an hour we will remove towels’ ( we didn’t see this happen once during are whole stay). Our way around this issue was to hire a car and visit local beaches and hire sun beds!! This added an unexpected cost to our holiday. But it meant we got the much needed lay in after all isn’t that what holidays are for. Restaurants. On booking this hotel we believed that there was the usual buffet dining as well as three other restaurants. This wasn’t the case. The non buffet option was prebookable ( on arrival we were told that we would not be able to get a reservation until our fifth evening, more than half way through our holiday! We expressed how unhappy we were about this and we were given reservations after the first night. O

• This 5-star hotel offers a stunning, remote location, high-quality rooms, excellent dining, and great amenities. • However, it falls short of its brand standards due to inconsistent staffing, poor check-in service, inadequate sunbed capacity, and unreliable room maintenance. • While the property has significant potential and helpful management, it currently struggles with basic operational issues that require improvement. On the whole however, it's a lovely hotel. But basics need a little work and they get them right, with the location and general room quality, this could an amazing place.

Wir waren vom 31.08. bis 07.09 in diesem tollen Hotel. Von Anfang bis Ende ein super Erlebnis. Das gesamte Team war super nett und sehr professionell !! Allen voran Dimitri vom Concierge Team. Aber auch das restliche Personal könnte nicht besser sein. Wir hatten öfter mal Probleme mit unserem Zugang zu unserem Zimmer 204 (the one with the door )aber das wude zum Schluss ein running gag mit dem Empfangs Team. Danke auch dem Küchen und Bar Team für den tollen Service und wir werden dieses schöne Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Danke für alles, Walther und Karen
