The owner! Remarkable lady, very educated, knowledgeable, original family owner of the property for generations. It was truly a unique experience to stay with modern amenities in such a historic and authentic setting.
Beautiful boutique style hotel.
Owner very lovely and helpful.
Room was very spacious and clean and amenities were great with lovely little personal touches from the owner.
Would definitely stay again and recommend
We loved our stay here! The owner was extremely helpful when we couldn’t get access to the property at midnight and walked us through the steps. She also gave us a map and lots of help with parking! The location is great for walking around the old town, but parking was a bit difficult. The room was just as described, beautifully appointed, and the fridge had complimentary juice, water, fruit, and wine! An excellent stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was extremely comfortable, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Had a beautiful balcony to look out of. And it was very clean with daily treats, being left and flowers on our pillows. The staff was extremely helpful with information on where to eat, where to go for the best beaches and information on the areas .Very friendly, very helpful. However the best part, was the queen of the castle Voula the cat!
Reception gave us a wonderful welcome upon our arrival.
We received fine recommendations for restaurants and local sights.
The room was beautiful and spacious.
A rare find.
What luxury to stay in such a charming hotel on a pedestrian street in the old town, steps away from the square, the port, and a myriad restaurants and shops. The room was tastefully appointed in the traditional style with a lace curtain around the bed that made us feel regal. A few steps led down into the room and up into the bathroom, so may not be suited to mobility-reduced guests, A nice sitting area made it perfect to manage our luggage situation, which can get challenging during a long trip and small spaces.
The only downside, which is no fault of the hotel, is that parking outside the pedestrian area if you have a car to park is very difficult. The free overnight parking lots are a good walk away and the demand is high, so seeking a spot in a dusty, unpaved lot can be an exercise in frustration.
A beautiful room in a historic centuries old building. Clean and comfortable with careful attention to every detail. The location was right in the heart of the old city. The owner is a great lady willing to help or provide information. The worst thing about our stay was that we couldn't stay longer.
I see no reason why this place would be rated less then a 10. Fantastic staff, beautiful authentic structure, decorated to suit the originality and likely the best location one can ask for.
As a traveller, every now and then you come across a place that feels like home. Speaking for myself. this has been one of them.
We were warmly welcomed and received many local recommendations and helpful tips. The location is superb right in the city center, but not too loud. Would highly recommend this stay!
I am so happy that we found this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed on the third floor and it was an amazing time. The hotel is owned by a local family and the woman that runs it is an amazing person. She was very hospitable and friendly and gave us tons of local knowledge and restaurant suggestions. Our trip was infinitely better because of her knowledge and wisdom of the island she showed us what beaches what restaurants and what areas to visit. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Another thing that is perfect about this hotel is it’s located in the center of old town so you are right in the heart of everything. One thing to note there is no elevator so just be prepared to carry your suitcases to your floor. It’s not a big deal. I just wanted to put that out there because it matters to some people. When we return to Crete, I will 100% stay at this hotel again.
Beautiful and centrally located with fantastic staff. Made our stay fantastic, their attention to detail and creating an experience for us was beyond what we had expected. Can’t recommend enough.
No words can describe the hospitality of the owner, Eleutheria..The hotel was absolutely spotless, right in the middle of the old town with restaurants, shops and everything in between.
Highly recommend this place! our stay was amazing and we are very grateful to have met such a perfect host! Thank you!😊
