Highly recommend staying here, can’t believe we got to stay at such an amazing place for a very good price. The balcony view was beautiful. Extremely good location in the old town, got to walk everywhere so easily. So many amazing restaurants nearby (just be careful of ‘En Plo’ seems to be a tourist trap scam restaurant - look at google reviews). The staff are also so lovely and went above and beyond to be helpful and take care of us during our stay. There was a technical issue with our room card and Kostas arrived within 15 minutes of us contacting them at 10:30pm, to assist us. Our rooms were cleaned and organised for us so well! Maria also arranged a taxi for us to the airport. Absolutely will come back here if we ever return to Chania.

We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either. The hotel is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated in a modern minimal style and you are provided with everything you could need. Air con worked well, the room had Netflix, a coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Room service was done every other day and nothing was too much trouble for the owner, she helped us book a taxi home and was always on hand and very friendly, as was nearly everyone we met in Chania. Overall, great stay, great hotel, 10/10 - would recommend, and would stay again.
