"An amazing house! So much space on many different levels, so many outdoor terraces with beautiful views of Souda Bay. Beautiful artwork, hundreds of books and countless knickknacks throughout the house. A/C worked perfectly in the heatwave, note that the A/C for the two bedrooms with twin beds was just outside in the hallway so the bedroom doors must be kept open to get air. "Lovely hotel just 2 mins from a local beach and a very good selection of bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Our room 406, had great sea views with a generous balcony. Pool area was well presented and with plenty of shade. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely return."

"We had a nice three day stay in July. We stayed in suite 10, which had a plunge pool and sun deck. The hotel is very small, like most wedged in Santorini. We were greeted by the GM when we arrived and the service throughout our stay was excellent. We used What's App to communicate and they were very responsive with anything we needed. They provided the choice of coming to breakfast, or choosing from the menu and having it brought it to your room. The location is very convenient and we were able to walk to almost every place we went. The had dinner one night at the hotel with the spectacular views of the property. The only downside to the property is that the rooms are a bit tight. We had the main room and bed on one floor that was small, and the shower and toilet on a small floor below. The main floor was a bit cramped when we were in the room. Overall, I would recommend the Kivotos as a beautiful property, great service, and a convenient location."

"The only criticism I have is that the light switches are not located very well by the bedside. Otherwise really spacious rooms and great staff. Beach was lovely although you should wear some water shoes as there are pebbles before you get onto the sandier bit if the seabed and they are incredibly hot!"

"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Galini Palace Resort Hotel. The overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful throughout, as the hotel is located in a quiet area away from the main tourist crowds. The Highlights: The absolute star of the hotel is the pool area - it is large, beautiful, crystal clear, and offers great view of the sea. The staff were also extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food variety in the dining room was impressive, and while not every dish was to our personal taste, we always found plenty to enjoy. Areas for Improvement: There were a few minor issues that kept this from being a true 5-star experience: Pool Hours: The pool hours are quite limited (10:30 AM – 6:30 PM). We felt it would be much better if it opened earlier and stayed open later in the evening, especially during the long summer days. Room Amenities: For a 5-star hotel, we expected more luxury touches. For example there were no bathrobes, and it was disappointing to be charged an extra daily fee to use the room safe. Maintenance & Cleanliness: The showerhead in our room was completely clogged. Also, there was a strange, strong smell of cleaning products in the hallway outside our room, which wasn't very pleasant. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful setting. With a little more attention to the small details and operating hours, it would be perfect."
