The pictures and description of this place online do not do it justice. We had no idea to expect that we'd drive a rough cobblestone road up the mountain to stay the night in a fairy tale castle, complete with a tower and a truly BREATHTAKING view of the countryside from our tall French windows which opened up to admit a fragrant breeze. excellent find! Their restaurant is michelin starred and although we were unable top have dinner there, the breakfast the next morning was better than any I had ever eaten. Pastries were freshly baked,; juice was freshly squeezed and coffee was individually brewed The meat almost tempted me to give up being a vegetarian.

This is the best value quality hotel I have ever stayed in. Family run and friendly , superb Restaurant, comfortable rooms, quality decorations. Just great and six stars.

Ce n'est pas un penthouse mais un bel appartement de ville avec tout le charme de l'ancien, de hauts plafonds, une cheminée, une suberbe déco, une salle de bain originale et immense. C'est spacieux et très agréable. Les fenêtres donnent sur une petite cour calme, on entend pas pas le bruit de la circulation. On est à deux pas du centre ville, tout est facilement accessible. The hotel is quite well-named; it really feels like the end of the world. Their dinner menu with a 17-euro three-course meal, aperitifs at 2.5 euros and a 50cl carafe of very drinkable wine at 6 euros made the place feel like a steal. HIghly recommended?
