Nooit meer, slechtste hotel van deze reis.

Geboekt omdat er een zwembad en skyview terras was. Toen wij om 14 uur naar het zwembad wilden, was de deur naar het zwembad gesloten. Bleek dat het zwembad alleen van 15 tot 19 uur geopend was. De dag erop om 15 uur naar het zwembad: weer gesloten. De receptie echt moeten overtuigen dat het zwembad gesloten was. Mooi zwembad met 1 aftands houten ligbed en drie eetkamerstoelen. Naar de skybar dan maar. Ook die was gesloten. Binnen een opslagruimte van oud meubilair. Het stonk er naar schimmel en mottenballen. Dan maar naar de vermeldde fitnessruimte. Licht uit en op slot. Bij de receptie kregen wij te horen dat de fitnessruimte gesloten was en bleef. Wij konden wel voor 100 baht per persoon naar gym naast het hotel. Het hele gebouw is vergane glorie. Het vermeldde ontbijt is kennelijk alleen vanaf donderdag beschikbaar. Spijt van dit verblijf.

Old Grand Hotel

Das größte Hotel in Chan, derzeit sind aber nur 3 von 12 Stockwerken in Betrieb, wochentags nur 2, das 5. und 6.OG. Das Hotel ist schon älter, Lobby und Zimmer sind aber in gutem Zustand, die Flure eher weniger. Das Restaurant ist nur zum Frühstück geöffnet, habe es aber nicht genutzt. Swimmingpool ist ok. Interessant: die walk in rate des Hotels ist deutlich günstiger, als bei Agoda oder Expedia zu buchen.

Ya nunca más.

Cada año va a peor. Ya no volveré a repetir. La señal wifi no iba, así que me cambiaron de habitación y seguía sin funcionar. No tiene cobertura. El aire acondicionado muy ruidoso y casi sin efecto. Una humedad terrible, al punto de estar el suelo mojado. Pedí unos cubiertos para comer algo de fruta en la habitación y me dijeron que los fuera a comprar al 7 eleven. Dice que hay caja fuerte en la habitación pero no es así, está en recepción. En fin... De mal en peor.

Big hotel, close to gem market

Pretty nice hotel for the area. I would guess it’s the largest hotel in town. Close to gem market. We walked there in 5 minutes or so.

Für ein, zwei Nächte okay

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Zimmer angenehm groß und Bad mit Badewanne, aber beispielsweise hat zwar das Waschbecken eine Mischbatterie, aber nicht die Wanne. Frühstück nicht nach meinem Geschmack, am zweiten Tag war ich lieber in einem Café in der Nähe.
