"5 weeks in Thailand in various islands and this was by far my favourite resort in terms of room comfort, beach and swimming, tons of beach chairs and a wonderful pool - we loved how close everything was at the resort to access. The onsite restaurant and coffee/dessert cafe was excellent with great choices. walking to the main road to access other restaurants took only about 5 minutes + a 7/11 was just up the main road as well. However, there are really quite a few hotels along the beach which also seem very nice (we didn't stay in any though so am only guessing) - but I was quite disturbed by being right next to the main road. It is really right there and not with some space behind so the noises, especially during breakfast, is really very loud. Seeing as the rate is not that low for not being beachfront, I might go with a more simple room but better located...
