"A real home from home and absolute gem of a place. Fantastic location with wonderful views and just a 5 minute walk to Readymoney Cove and Whitehouse Beach and a 10 minute walk (at the most) to the shops and pubs/restaurants in beautiful Fowey. "Compact but lovely rustic property. Good location, regarding sight seeing, but could hear the noise of traffic when sitting in the garden. As it was really hot on our trip, a parasol in the garden would have been ideal. Also behind the cottage was another cottage's garden so for privacy needed to pull down the blinds. The host was very helpful and communicated a couple of issues before our arrival. Lovely welcome pack. Overall we had a lovely stay."

"We stayed for 11 days and loved the house. Wide angle camera lenses often create the illusion of bigger spaces, but this flat really was very spacious. The bedroom was big with a nice bed and plenty of storage (a bigger bed would be ideal). Separate toilet and shower rooms were nice. The kitchen was big and well fitted. The real bonus was the spacious lounge with two couches (although the TV definitely needs to be upgraded). The wood-burning stove was wonderful. The location is super convenient...

"The property was great. Unfortunately when we arrived the property had not been cleaned after the previous let. We advised the contact we had been given, and this was done straight away. She was very responsive, and had just returned from holiday, so was not sure what had happened. However this meant that we could not check in properly until 3 hours after we arrived. "

"Very relaxing holiday, hostess very helpful. Quite a difficult place to find with the narrow lanes in Cornwall. Sat Navs get confused. But all part of the fun. Lots of places to visit within an hour of driving but to guarantee parking should endeavour to reach destination in the mornings otherwise car parks full."

"It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel. We ate in each night on our 3 night stay, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Also the quality of the bar staff and the reception staff checking in and out. Can’t fault any of them. "

"Our room was spacious and we had sea-view. It's an excellent hotel for short stays! It's very modern and clean, with a nice rain shower in the bathroom and complimentary water and tea in the room. The staff were very polite and caring; special thanks to Mr. MS for his excellent service. "

"Far better than expected, the little things like a qr code for facilities and things to do in area, biscuits, hot chocolate, peacefulness, a guest lounge with a view and a breakfast cooked and served to order, with fruit, cereals, toast, cheeses and pastries from the breakfast buffet. If you want guests to return, this is how to do it!"
