The charm of Casa Caballito de Mar is the proximity to one of the most beautiful coastal ecosystems in the world. The property is located between the beautiful beach of the Pacific Ocean and the protected mangroves of the Portoviejo River. Casa Caballito de Mar is located on a section of beach about two kilometers (20-minute walk) south of downtown San Jacinto, a fishing village north of "la Boca," the point where the Portoviejo River flows into the sea. La Boca has been a peaceful place of recreation for the Manabitas for many generations.
