"Quite narrow access to the carpark. Renovations were on going during the visit, our room was nice but the entrance etc was still in progress so was messy but not a true reflection.
We were told of a wedding on the second night, it must have been booked well in advance but we were not told until 2 days before so we're stuck with it. It was very noisy and went on very late with no attempt to turn it down come midnight.. the food was o.k. though I wish I had tried somewhere in town instead. Breakfast is buffet style but they struggle to keep it fully stocked up."
"Really nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious dinner and decent breakfast. Very easy check in and check out.
One of the 2 rooms we booked had an issue with the door which rattled every time some other door along the corridor was opened as it sat too loose. We raised the issue with the reception who immediately sent someone to have a look. The found solution, whilst not perfect, helped through the night.
The rooms were quite warm during the night, too warm for some of us.
But overall, we had a great stay. Thank you very much."
"Such an amazing stay! Loved the genuine cell block structure. Room was so spacious. Loved the bathtub. Location was exactly what we needed close to Westgate Shopping and Pembroke College only a quick walk to those areas as well as many dining options. Will definitely return in future."
