Great little place for our family!

Perfect place for a short family stay. The furniture was comfortable and the AC worked great! We were worried that the highway noise would be too loud, but the house was well insulated and we could barely hear it. We were a little short on some essentials like TP and paper towels, but after some hunting in the garage we found some to make it to the end of our stay. It didn’t detract from our stay though.

Property was exactly as listed. Plenty of room for a larger group. In very good condition inside and out. Clean, with all the needed little things for your stay. Host was responsive and helpful. Conveniently located & close to many food choices. Will look to stay again next trip to WV.

Excellent road trip stop

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay. We broke up our two day road trip with our young kids by staying here. It was super easy to get to, super clean and the host was really responsive. There were many little touches that were great for having kids there—fenced in yard, age appropriate plates, stool for the sink, bathtub. This is going to be our new stay over place!

The space was perfect for our needs. Convenient location. Comfortable beds and furnishings, great kitchen with full size side by side refrigerator freezer. Convenient parking right at the front door. Great unique artwork. Would definitely recommend!

Birthday celebration

Great overall experience. We were able to meet the owner and partners in the business, such wonderful people! The house was clean and plenty of space for my two brothers and parents while celebrating my mom's 70th birthday. Would recommend and stay again.

The house felt like it was recently renovated, and everything felt clean. There was a little snafu when we arrived but the owner responded quickly and made it right. We loved the available keurig k cup selection. That was such a nice touch!

Weekend with family

We had a great weekend at John’s rental. The house has a good lay out and is nicely updated. Our biggest issue was noise from the highway but that died down by 10pm. Beds were comfortable and everything was in working order. We appreciated this rental!

Cute house, newly remodeled, close to interstate

This is a cute little house that's bigger than it looks. It's newly remodeled and well cared for. The owner is a pleasure to deal with, he makes things easy. The traffic can be a little loud but, it's nothing that ear plugs can't overcome. It's a convenient and easy to get to location, I'd recommend it if you are traveling through WV.

Back home again...

The property was great! It was nice spending the time with family (a total of 6 of us) without feeling like we were on top of each other. The fenced in back yard was extra special so our service dog could go potty. My only issue was the floor length window in the en suite bathroom not being frosted.

Served it's purpose.

We drove for 7 hours and were happy to be there. The woman who met us was lovely. The location was perfect for us, right off I64. Marco's pizza delivered and it was delicious. The place was not as clean as I would have hoped. There was used coffee in the coffee maker, the floors had crumbs on them, and I was concerned about the bed sheets having not been washed. I found hairs on them. Not that it was a dirty place by any means. It just wasn't what I am used to staying at different rentals in the past.

Beautiful home, great renovations.

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 pet birds, and it was perfect for us. It is large enough for a family and the bedrooms are nice. The house is nicely renovated with personal touches. The amenities are good, and appliances are really nice, high end. John put a lot into this home for rental, but cares that it is "your home" while there. And he was right there when we had a minor problem, and responds quickly. John asked for improvements for future and just these minor suggestions: need another larger pan for cooking, potato peeler, maybe kitchen towels, and small night stands in main bedroom just like other bedrooms. You may not realize the door in the main bedroom bathroom does not completely close, which will be a minor adjustment for you. Thank you John for a wonderful stay. We would stay again, and would recommend to others, as you put a lot of thought into what your guests would want and need. It's convenient off the expressway, and yet pretty quiet inside.

It was wonderful for granddaughter her husband and their kids. 2 miles from us so they could spend time with us. The dishwasher soap under sink was empty but i gave them a couple. The k cup machine wasnt working.Beautiful stay for them. Thank you.

Beautiful house in a lovely area of the country! House is right next to the highway and easy to get to. Beds were comfortable but house wasn't as clean as I would expect.
