Red Roof Inn Charleston - Kanawha City, WV
If you need a budget place in a pinch, i suppose this will do. It has the basics. Beyond that, this place was unpleasant. Rooms smell like mold, cracked paint and metal everywhere, blankets and towels stained. Avoid unless you're desperate or you have very low standards and expectations.

Days Inn by Wyndham Charleston WV
No bedbugs but there were ants in our room. Overnight staff wasnt very hospitable. She said we could drive up to our room, and then 1 min later told us we couldn't. Didn't greet us and wasn't kind. A bed is a bed but I wouldn't stay again

Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Kanawha City by IHG
Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep.
