Great weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful experience at #228. The place was super clean and we had a sweet little anniversary set up when we arrived which was a nice surprise! The only things we would change is a new mattress and a window covering as it is between the bedroom and hallway with a light that is always on. Curtains would be great! We also LOVED the shower! Amazing weekend. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love Charlevoix, the surrounding area and Edgewater Inn! Have stayed there 3 or 4 times over the years and always had a nice time. So conveniently close to restaurants, downtown shopping and beach area. Love looking out from the balcony and seeing the boats and downtown area from the room. Staff are always helpful and pleasant. Rooms are nice but could be modernized. Really glad to see that Edgewater Inn is remodeling outside of building. Looks great! Looking forward to staying again someday.

Edgewater Inn, Room 228

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent time. We've stayed at the Edgewater Inn 20+ times over the years. Management seems back on track to when we first started. Room 228 was clean, nicely decorated and a great location. The window coverings could be better but overall I can't complain. The common areas were clean. The exterior needs some painting, cleaning, etc., but is in better shape now than a few years ago.

Beautiful view -- but that's about it

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views are beautiful, but the room is old, antiquated, dated, the bed *sucks* and so on. We expected more for a $300+ per night room. We have rental properties and could NOT in good conscience, rent out an old, worn-out place like this -- not for any price. But then we have higher standards. If you are okay with a Motel 6-level quality at Ritz Carlton prices then you would be okay with staying here. We are not. The owners must not have a lot of pride or self-respect to allow something like this on the market. Or they are just greedy. Shame on them.
