The staff here is fantastic. The property and the room were absolutely beautiful ! It is one of my favorite hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in with great character and design. Can’t wait come back and stay here on our next trip to Charlotte!

This is the very first hotel that I LOVED everything about it in my 51 years. Clean and the lobby scent was fresh and crisp. Will stay again if I ever travel to charlotte again.

Beautiful property in a convenient location. We walked across the street to get dinner. Love the style of the hotel. The bee motif was really nice. Had to pay for parking, only downside. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the Mecklen. I consider myself a bit of a hotel snob, and I could not have been happier with my stay. It was clean, the staff was extremely helpful, great location, and the decor of the hotel is a huge added plus that makes it feel very homey!

This is a fabulous hotel with a stellar staff. The boutique style and feel is amazing! From the time I walked in the front door, I know I was going to be well taken care of. A must stay in Charlotte.

I’m not sure how old this property is but it looks like it’s brand new like only two years old or so. The scent that’s pumped into the hallways is so calming and such a high end touch it goes miles above and beyond paired with the plush carpet by the time you get to your room you’re so relaxed it’s time to go to sleep. And the bedrooms are so comfortable that you forget about what you have to do tomorrow. Great rooms.

The hotel is great! It smells wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the bathroom and shower are excellent. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there’s a gap in the curtain that lets in a lot of light, both at night from the streetlights and in the morning. As soon as it starts getting light outside, the room gets bright enough to wake you up. They should fix this and install blackout curtains that cover the entire window. Other than that, everything was excellent. We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, but it seems to have a nice menu. If the curtains in another room close completely and block out the light, I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
