This was a very clean/well kept hotel, but it should be noted it really is just a Marriott with some added flare- gold fixtures and maybe some leather seating; thus, the price point does not match the hotel. That said- the price point does* match the location. We were able to walk toward the mall or campus easily and it was in a great area. Staff was nice and rooms were comfortable.

I love this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Bedding, linens, towels -- all top notch. Staff are extremely kind, thoughtful and helpful - from the front desk to the bartenders to the valet parking folks. . . just a pleasure all around. I will be back! :-)

Nice place with great in-the-trenches staff

The staff was generally quite good, but special thanks to Cynthia for getting us checked-in efficiently and pleasantly, and the housekeeping and maintenance staff for taking care of an issue that arose in the room. The hotel is clean, quiet and convenient to UVA campus, medical facilities and some nice coffee shops and restaurants.

I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at this hotel. My family and I were in town for my daughter's medical procedure, and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful accommodations they made for us, we truly felt cared for during a difficult time. Their kindness and willingness to assist us with every need was deeply appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel not just for the quality of the facilities, but for the exceptional service provided by the staff.
