"The staff were brilliant. Friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The hotel would benefit from an overall refurbishment, carpets and paintwork look quite worn. When we arrived finding the entrance to the car park proved quite challenging, maybe some directions to it on the website would help. The breakfast coffee was terrible however the food overall was better than expected, generally well cooked and tasty with some nice touches such as pea shoots and sliced chilli on the SE asian curry. "We like this location because it is convenient and very walkable to restaurants, etc. The bath in our room had been renovated recently and was very nice. The staff is amazing one of the top reasons we stay there. "
