"We had amazing time at the Chateau de Charmeil. The owners are charming people who did everything they could to make our stay there wonderful. The dinner for two was delicious, as was the breakfast. We loved the Chateau grounds. Our beautiful suite was air conditioned and had a great view. Highly recommended!"

"Wonderful Stay ! I loved my stay! The breakfast was excellent. My dad and I booked a twin room on the top floor – it was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a lovely bathroom. The building's exterior is charming as well. The location was super convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the Palais des Congrès, which was perfect for the Scrabble competition. J'avais réservé une grande chambre au dernier étage pour mon père et moi : spacieuse, joliment décorée, avec une belle salle de bain. L’extérieur de l’hôtel est également très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal, à seulement 2 minutes du Palais des Congrès, parfait pour la compétition de Scrabble. Je réserverai à nouveau sans hésiter ! "

"Great location close to town centre and river Allier. Rrally helpful staff on reception and at bar ( shame about restaurant manager who was unnecessarily inflexible and lavking any customer service!)"

"Lovely hotel with a nice terrace with views of the park. The bed was amazing, as was the bathtub ! Dinner in the main restaurant was amazing! Had the best magret de canard on my entire month long trip across France. Love this place"
