On way home from Spain, just a stop. But good value and clean. Disappointed the restaurant wasn’t open Friday/Saturday as there is not much within walking distance.

Overnight stay en-route. Room immaculate with brilliant bathroom and powerful shower.Tesla EV chargers in car park. AC had failed but room not uncomforably warm

Great budget hotel

British couple. Mostly enjoyed the stay. Reception was bilingual, restaurant server was not but did their bestz Book your table early if you want to eat here, they had run out of a few things by the time we sat down to eat. The room was incredibly quiet with thick blackout curtains. We were disappointed with the air conditioning, which didnt cool the room well at all

Easy check in, comfortable bed, good restaurant. BUT BEWARE! The restaurant is NOT OPEN on Saturday and Sunday nights - which is never mentioned on the web page. If you are planning to show up on those nights and eat, there is no possibility except to travel into town or get a burger at a very loud go cart place nextdoor.

Room was OK. Restaurant was very good. The elevator, however was out of order. We are older people, and they put us on the top floor - 3 flights of stairs. I understand these things happen, but it was quite disappointing.

We only booked this hotel because the details said it had a restaurant, and after a long journey we just wanted to relax at the hotel. When we arrived we were told that it was shut until September. At breakfast we were ignored for at least 15 minutes before we were finally seated. Unfortunately there was no food left to eat so we left and asked for a refund. The excuse we were given by a staff member was that it was a busy time! She did offer us all a hot drink which we appreciated.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

We regularly stay overnight at the Chartres Kyriad on our way south. We were given a ground floor room which was very convenient. The room looked like it had been newly painted and was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. There were plenty of electrical points to charge our devices.nThe bathroom was in good condition, very clean and the shower was excellent. The only disappointment was that although the website says there’s a restaurant, it isn’t open on weekends. Not ideal if you don’t already know to be prepared to go out again after checking, to find food outlets.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but needs refurbishing. There was plenty of hot water. We arrived on Saturday evening and were told that the hotel restaurant is not open at the weekend. This is not made clear on the booking page. However, there was a private booking for 80 people, on Saturday evening, so the restaurant was open, but no tables had been reserved for other guests. Food outlets are extremely limited nearby so we had to drive into the city centre to find a restaurant. Multiple road works, 30km speed limit and appallingly poor town planning made it very difficult to find our way to a car park near the city centre. Not a good experience, after a long drive from Calais.

The biggest problem I had was that after a day of driving, the restaurant - with a fully booked hotel on a Saturday night - was closed. Although we ate there last year on a Saturday night, and the website says they are open on Saturday night I was told that they never open on Saturday, but there were other restaurants in the area - which, being Saturday night, had no reservations left even if we wanted to get back in our car after driving all day. We finally found hamburgers nearby which weren't bad if you could put up with the ear-splitting children karaoke. No hand towels, only shower towels, and who sleeps under heavy comforters in summer? Some light blankets would be nice. All-in-all, you can stay there if you are stopping off while underway, it is fairly near the autoroute, and the restaurant - when it is open - is good. Breakfast is good, but over-priced.
