"Historic building and surrounding estate. After seeing many of these from the outside , it was enchanting to be inside and dream about life as a resident. "

"Well priced, comfortable, convenient when driving across France. We enjoyed an excellent supper on the terrace and a very good breakfast. Not fancy but just the thing for a good stopover. Highly recommended."

"They were waiting for me that evening, but I arrived in the night, as I told them. Everything was ready for me, I had received the code to go in. "I think some thought went into the design of the hotel but the day-to-day operation lets it down completely. Front door doesn’t lock properly, looks like was forced open. Air conditioning doesn’t work, sink leaks and drains onto the floor. No soap in shower. Drapes so close to sink that they get wet every time. Dead insects in drapes and windows. Some parts on room construction unfinished while other finished bits are falling apart."
