"Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans la bulle. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus. Le menu du soir ainsi que le petit déjeuner (qui est inclu) étaient excellent et bien copieux. Nous avons pu profiter d’une nuit étoilée magique depuis le lit dans la bulle! La bulle est située au milieu d’une petite forêt réservée qu’à nous. Le lieu est très calme, paisible et situé dans une zone historique comportant de nombreux châteaux, qui bordent la route Richard Coeur de Lion. "

"We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. "To find it was a bit hard , but I called the owner (she does not speak English, so better you have prepared your french ) , after all she find us , we were not far at all from location, Is very quiet area indeed , only the rooster is making noise in the morning but is very pleasant to be waking up in a classic way , worth to stay there , visit the Oradeur sur Glane , the martyr village, is very sad what happened there "

"The hotel is a lovely clean, modern, budget hotel and is great value for money. Do not be fooled by the advert of an airport shuttle, it does not exist and the staff will argue blind that booking you a taxi at the cost of 60-80 euro constitutes an airport shuttle. The staff and service in the hotel is good and friendly. Facilities are modern basic and clean. The breakfast is ok but not really worth the price, head out and grab something local. The location is good and the hotel is all round good value with high standards of cleanliness. I would stay again. "

"We enjoyed our two and a half weeks in Rochechouart, despite some disappointing weather.The house, which was fairly simply furnished and a little on the dark side but well-equipped, was in a very peaceful, natural location, ideal for exploring the town and surrounding area. There are lots of good walks in the area which we enjoyed and it was also very relaxing and entertaining to sit by the river, listening to the water and watching the kingfishers, wagtails and coypu.The swimming pool was lovely. The temperature was consistently warm and was big enough to have a proper swim. It also had a reasonable sized shallow end which would be great for little ones. It was well maintained and cleaned regularly by the nice owners, who live in the neighbouring property but were not intrusive."
