"A good stay at this hotel. The lady on reception, Miriam, was very helpful, spoke perfect English and nothing was too much trouble. A very good nights’ sleep. A lot of people at breakfast but plenty to go round, and again, a very efficient service. Well done. Merci beaucoup."

"This was my first visit. Not far off the N154 south of Chartres. Very nice clean modern room. Good food but on the expensive side. However they do offer wine by the carafe, which is reasonable. Breakfast was continental and again expensive compared to others. WIFI was available but only worked in the restaurant, not in my room and very poor in the bar. Staff were very efficient if not a bit cold!"

"Our annual family holiday is a special occasion. It’s also a bit of a risk spending two weeks in a place that you’ve never visited. Our tick list has evolved over the years, with our priorities now being an enclosed garden for the dogs, ground floor accommodation for the parents and a swimming pool. This property ticks all the boxes and much more. Aline was a wonderful host from the outset. Communication before we arrived was easy and our questions were answered. During our stay Aline was on hand if we needed her, otherwise she allowed us to keep ourselves to ourselves. The house is beautiful, typically French with the usual fixtures and fittings you would expect. We had a couple of criticisms, one that there were only two toilets for the whole property. The other that there wasn’t enough comfy seating in the lounge. That aside it suited us perfectly and we actually spent most of our time outdoors anyway. The garden is huge and ideal for two dogs that need exercise. The pool and surrounding area is stunning, a real bonus. The property is set in the grounds of a chateau, idyllic. We certainly loved the location and would recommend it if you are looking for peace and quiet. In the day you could hear the peacocks whilst at night the owls came alive. There is a lovely little town just a couple of miles away, with the supermarket very close by. We enjoyed exploring other local towns and villages by car and bicycle. "Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Sadly, there was only one other person there and this was in the middle of August. We just loved the multi coloured rooms: very different and refreshing. Downside was the prices on the menu and the huge prices for wine. I travel extensively through France and found their prices excessive. Having said that they offer a wide range of meals which appear to be good. Perhaps they could look at revising some of their prices and attract more overnight stop customers. "

"We stayed for one week in July/Aug and had a fantastic time. The house is very clean and tidy with a great set of facilities, particularly for children (cot, high chair, stair gates etc). The pool is definitely the highlight at it is very well maintained and is heated which means it can be used for the whole family. Geanina is an amazing host who responds promptly to requests and is really helpful in making your stay perfect. There is a good supermarket (Intermarche) within 10 mins drive and also an amazing patisserie and boulangerie (Aux Co'Pains Gourmands)."

"Arrived into this hotel after booking 2 months before and paid my stay no one in reception the code given to me by email didn't work as the hotel system says hotel fully booked, so my room was double sold Me and my family arrived from a long journey to sleep on a petrol station with a room paid for a deserved rest The contact number on the door didn't work, no one wanser and my booking wasn't available Not a good service for sure Not again, still haven't any contact or reimbursement from this group, neither a explanation Not again, 3 people have to sleep on a car after 14 hours driving Shameless "
