"Je n'ai pas pu me rendre dans la location car ma cousine ( 42 ans ) est décédée quelques jours auparavant. Notre week-end s'est transformé en cauchemar. Trop tard pour être remboursé , mais par correction, j'ai prévenu la propriétaire par message que je ne pourrai venir. "Stopped overnight on our way down to our own place in the Charente. Plenty of parking around the chateau. Very pleasant staff and a lovely friendly German Shepperd dog to welcome you. Room was very clean, spacious and a most comfy bed and pillows. We had a lovely dinner in the evening but wanted to get on the road early in the morning so passed on the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Lastly, nice decking area to sit out on in the evenings."

"The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!"

"The house was great, had all the comforts of home, a great yard with fig and peach trees, lots of Rose trees, that we have not seen and we are gardeners, a dock to sit on watch the river Le Loir flow, the host was awesome showed us the ins and out, took us to the local supermarket to stock up for our stay."

"Wifi didn't work in our room. 14 oC this morning, but no heating available. Meal very disappointing. 3 /5 lights didn't work in bedroom. It was tired and needed TLC to improve it. Arrival time was 3 pm, but no one around at 3.30. Then reception closed again until 5 pm, so no help available. We won't be back. "

"We had a fantastic week and Aline was very friendly and accomodating. The house was perfect for our family and the kids loved the pool which is all enclosed for safety. The house had plenty of room for large groups like ours and the supermarket was 5 mins drive up the road which was really handy. There is a great patisere in the local town well worth a visit for some lovely fresh cakes. "
