"De ligging van het appartement was prima. De bus stopte voor de deur (als je de ruim 70 treden was afgedaald) en dan kon je zo naar de verschillende liftstations. Het huis heeft veel huisraad, maar komt ook wel rommelig over. Wel was het schoon toen wij er in kwamen en het uitzicht is schitterend. " Family trip with two teenagers. We appreciated the space, comfort and layout of room 31. We each had our own quarters, our own balcony and amazing view of the valley. Magnificent. I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower area. What was also useful was having a sink in our room. The ski equipment room is spacious and very convenient. The staff all around were great, always greeting us warmly. We all enjoyed using the wet sauna, dry sauna, pool and hot tub. Acess to the mountains: La Macchi provides a lift service: walking distance to the gondola lift (Super Chatel); or there is the bus that can take you to La linga and or to Pierre Longue ( and from there you can make your way to Avoriaz) There is a great supermarket, Sherpa, just across the street. It was perfect. Very nicely stocked. Awesome store. Easy walk to restaurants in the area. Overall great experience. Very appreciative of the staff who tidied our room daily. They did an exceptional job. * A little quibble or feedback: I wish the hot tub was hotter. We enjoyed the massage chair. I wished there was a second chair and i was a tad disappointed that the leg feature of the massage was not working."

"The apartment is perfectly situated, close to the centre of Chatel, only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, the main gondela and chairlifts by Lac Vonnes. The apartment itself was very well equipped, everything you need and very comfortable. We did go out for dinner and drinks some evenings, but also enjoyed staying in and cooking our own meals on a few occasions. Really easy to get to by car and having a safe underground parking space was a bonus too. Would absolutely stay again if we return to the Portes de Soleil."

"Spotless, spacious, comfortable. Lovely big balcony with views of the mountains. Bath with shower over it. Staff very courteous & room ready early. Underground parking which was quite extensive & safe. Lovely spa with sauna, hamman, swimming pool & seating area. Would def return "
