"The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."

"Beautiful house and pool in a wonderful quiet location. House was very clean and well equipped, weather was hot while we stayed but fans supplied to keep everyone cool while sleeping. Communication was excellent with owner and housekeeper. Really enjoyed our stay here."

"We enjoyed a tranquil 3 days at this beautifully restored property, situated in green and peaceful countryside. The house is spacious and comfortable, and we loved going for walks alongside forested streams next to the property. The house is well-located for sightseeing and exploring the region, with supermarkets a short drive away, and the charming local village of Usseau within walking distance.Although the pool was not ready for use (luckily it was too cold to swim), it will be lovely when it is finished. And be aware that you will need to pay on arrival for some services such as bed-making, towels and heating.Overall, a very relaxing stay in a magical place, with hospitable hosts."
