You’ll experience blissful solitude as you sit on the deck of this home, sipping your morning coffee and watching the warm summer breeze or crisp autumn air sway the surrounding salt pines. Whipping up meals will be a cinch in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, and those not on cooking or clean-up duty can relax in the huge living room, overlooking the lake or swing peacefully in the outdoor hammock. There’s really no need to leave this home, but should you choose to, downtown Chatham, a variety of saltwater beaches, restaurants, boutiques, mini golf, seal tours and beach yoga are all a short drive away. Great place for large group

The house layout was good for a larger group. The kitchen, dinning room, living room and outdoor deck was also nice to have family time and let the kids play.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Caught some nice fish off the deck by the water. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck and a campfire at night. The kitchen had everything we needed for a few evening meals as well. Lots of room for everyone and a great location.

Happy on the water

We enjoyed the large property on the pond. Water is great for swimming and canoe. Decks and fire pit were wonderful with great weather. There is plenty of room in the house to sleep and socialise if the weather turns. I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic!

This property exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect along with the cleanliness of the house. The king size bed was very comfortable. The lake water was super clean and Our golden retriever loved swimming as well as us. It was a very short car drive to downtown Chatham with great shopping and restaurants. Everything was perfect and we will be visiting again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful Lake Escape

Really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The location can’t be beat so close to Chatham Main St. Awesome lake for fishing, spacious deck and outdoor fire pit and well appointed kitchen. I plan to book every year!

Would have been five star rating if not for the poor furniture in living room. Furniture really needs replacing as it is very uncomfortable and could not sit on one piece without it sliding across the floor. For a house that slept 8 I'm happy there was only three of us as there wouldn't have been a comfortable option for gathering in the living room.

Great place for extended family

We loved the location of this house on the water, as well as the amount of living space available to us as a group of 7 people. Views from the back deck were gorgeous and the home was close to a lot we wanted to do. The kitchen supplies lacked- knives were terrible, can opener was broken and I didn’t receive a response when I messaged the management, and the dishwasher would start and then randomly stop so we needed to hand wash everything, unfortunately. Definitely recommend repairing or replacing that. The dehumidifier in the basement was also super loud- clicking and making noise all night long outside two of the bedrooms which wasn’t great. Despite challenges, we would definitely stay again!

Moved from Chatham house to Homeport house.

Reserved Chatham property but did not stay. Property advertised a fireplace however fireplace not for guest use. Del Mar staff were awesome and moved us at check in to Home Port property, with working fireplace. Property was better fit for us overall, including location. Del Mar staff were awesome

6 NIGHTS ON GOOSE POND IN CHATHAM

Very nice property-well cared for, well supplied WITH PLENTY OF SPACE AND CLOSETS. The negatives for us were ( we are Sr. Citizens and in good health)- Too many stairs to negotiate to gain entry into house with all our equipment. Very steep slope to get to water with no railings and the few steps there needed to be restored. The BBQ was difficult to light and on our last night it would not light at all- so we could not cook our steaks (we BBQ at home 3 times a week all yr. long on our gas Weber.) Trying to get out onto Olde Queen Anne Rd is difficult due to the slope and bushes interfering with sightline until we were almost on the road. Sorry for the few negatives-hope it is helpful-but again a nice clean property.

Cooking pans was discussing and rust very old

One time deal and over priced they charge a lot more them showing on the website never stay on any property manager by Del Mar again, but the house was ok just very old and rust cooking pans for what you charge could be better on the cooking wares shame on you leaving like that.

Beautiful Location

The house is in a beautiful location and is very spacious for a group of 8. While the bedrooms do have air conditioning the rest of the house does not so it can get a bit hot during the day but cools down again at night. The pond is a great feature! Definitely would stay again!

Enjoyable stay!

Clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Enjoyed the beautiful view. There are 2.5 full bathrooms (half bath is on the first floor). One is on the second floor and is shared with the master bedroom and the queen bedroom. Both are lovely rooms, but the other two adults opted for one of the basement rooms so they could have their own bathroom.

I would like to mention. The checkout process should come the night before. More details about trash and if recycling is required- what bins to use. Also temperature - what the thermostats should be left at when leaving. What to do with towels /linens

Perfect location for an end of summer getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It is large, well equipped, and right on Goose Pond. Lots of water toys were already at the house. Kids had their own separate area downstairs away from the adults, but there was also room for everyone to sit down and watch a movie together. Great location, a quick 5-10 minute drive to just about anything! The property manager was also extremely responsive! Would definitely stay again!
