Robert Treat Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"It was an amazing hotel then expected. It was spacious, very clean, staffs are super nice. The hotel was very close to the subway station. Walkable distance. We went with our toddler and we had a great time in Robert Treat hotel. It was a great experience for us. Happy with our choice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay. Thank you for all the services you have provided us during our stay."

2/10 Terrible

"I paid a cancellations protection fee to Expedia. But 5 minutes after making the reservation I realized I put in wrong dates. I contacted Expedia who said the cancellation protection fee did not cover the hotel. I contacted the hotel. And they would not alter the dates. The hotel lost 2 more nights stay by not allowing me to change the dates! Never again will I use Expedia or this hotel"

"This is our go to hotel when we are in town for work. This last trip, the female front desk clerk that was checking us in was horrible. We are not sure if she was overwhelmed but her attitude made us so uncomfortable. On top of that we booked a King (which we paid more for) and she put us in a double bed. We tried to call & get it switched but no one picked up. We also went back down to rectify the issue but the hotel was hosting an event and the lobby was full. We decided to contact Expedia. Expedia immediately helped. Very satisfied with Expedia's customer service."

The Kenilworth Hotel - Airport West

"This is probably my 6th or 7th stay here. Each of my previous stays were very good. This time was different. Upon arrival, the toilet seat was not connected and fell onto the floor. I picked up the phone in the room to report the issue and the phone did not work. I walked to the front desk and reported this. A maintenance guy came by the next day but I was using the shower and asked him to come back. I don't believe he could understand English very well. Anyway, he never returned. On my last day, which was added to my stay, I asked the front desk to make sure the room was cleaned on that day. It was not cleaned and the Hsk Manager told me that my room was marked as "do not clean". I know the lady at the front desk asked me if I wanted the room cleaned and I responded "yes". The morning of my departure, I went to have breakfast. When I returned to my room, the door key card did not work. I went to the front desk and they "reset" it. I went back to my room and it still did not work so I went back to the front desk to report. The lady checked again and assured me the key card was good. Again, it did not work. I asked one of the housekeepers if they could open for me but they only called their supervisor, which I understood. The supervisor came by and the door did not open. She responded that she could not open it and it was locked from the inside. I asked her if I was supposed to just leave my belongings there??? 15 min later, I was let in my maintenance."

Holiday Inn Newark International Airport by IHG

8/10 Good

"The room was clean and housekeeping was reactive to my request. The hallways with carpet had some horrible smells. The air conditioner needed to be painted it was rusted. The shuttle drivers were the best part of the hotel staffing. Kind informative and on time."
