"Free parking a couple of minutes away. Hotel was in a picturesque village, very quiet and near to the Peak district shopping centre and Bakewell. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Accommodation was good. Very clean and spacious the only downside was the lighting in the room was very poor. For some reason we were placed in a disabled room so everything was very low. As we were only staying one night we did not ask to be moved. The sink in the bathroom had no plug and was very lowdown we are tall people so it made washing a bit difficult. There was no light near the mirror so was very difficult to blow my hair or put makeup on as the lighting was very dim. The room was quite dark Bed was very comfy and the room was very warm. Continental breakfast was good. Parking was great. Would use hotel again only hope they sort the lighting out. We were one of a group of six and we all said the rooms were dark and lights very dim. "

"Good sized room. Bathroom a bit small but the shower was nice and hot. Tea and coffee provided but disappointed there were no biscuits. Bed was comfy and had a good nights sleep "

"Room spotless. Refurbished beautifully. Views towards Chatsworth amazing. Garden room restaurant pleasant. Menu was reasonable. Eg Haddock and chips generous but vegetarian options lacking either in portion size or flavour. Breakfasts were stunning and faultless. We will definitely book to go again as we loved it! "

"The lady on check in was really nice and helpful , we didnt use the bar . Ample parking for overnight stays and the room was brilliant too. My only concern which didn't really bother us was the bath was slippy when showering. We'd definitely stay again 10 out of 10 from us ."
