Beautiful chateau. Quiet, clean. Huge rooms and lovely farm style breakfast.
Close to a town with wonderful restaurants and very close to visit wineries
We stayed here for one night on our way to Paris from Basel. The grounds are beautiful, the surroundings are peaceful and serene, the chateau is well maintained and very clean. It’s an old building, which comes with some idiosyncrasies but it’s very comfortable overall. Breakfast was excellent. Beaune is close by.
A very peaceful place to disconnect from the busy business world. Beautiful chateau full of history. In winter great wood fire chimney next to the breakfast room. Nice breakfast. Will come back. Within minutes from many famous villages of cote de Beaune for wine lovers.
What is not to like? Nice location, good service, good breakfast. Too bad we couldn’t havr diner during out stay. But didn’t influenced the rest of the stay.
First, there was no outside lighting, making it difficult to navigate the property after dark. Upon entering our room, we found that there was no shower gel or shampoo, nor any bottles of water. This was particularly unpleasant as we arrived in the evening and expected basic amenities to be available.
The breakfast provided was very poor. The selection was minimal, and the staff did not clear dirty dishes from the tables, forcing us to eat at a dirty table. This lack of cleanliness was very off-putting.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and the grounds of the château are lovely. However, these positives do not outweigh the negatives we experienced.
This overall poor service and lack of attention to detail have made us hesitant to purchase any products from the château, as it raises doubts about the quality given such neglectful hospitality.

Disappointing 2nd visit
We are dissatisfied with our 2nd visit of this property. We deliberately choose the chateau because the presence of a restaurant, although they even sent us the contact details of the on site restaurant the day before, the restaurant was closed for a long winter break abruptly (without stating it on the website or hotels.com, on the contrary, even today it still says online that the restaurant is open from Wednesday to Friday). As there are no other restaurants close by, this is very inconvenient.
Besides we let them know, a few weeks upfront, we were travelling with a kid of 2 years old, there was no baby cot in the room (only a little bed for a baby up till 6 months). They told us the usual baby bed is with Armand and he is om holidays, after much insistence from us, a crib without sheets or blankets was provided. Luckily we brought a sheet ourselves. Last but not least, after 18.00 there is no one at the castle anymore. Just us and other (luckily friendly and decent) guests. There are no contactdetails whom to call or whatsever in case of questions or urgent marters.
I have no idea what the priorities are in this small hotel, but guest satisfaction is not one of them.
Everything is so nice about this place and it was, as expected, very cozy and quiet. The communication also works perfectly from the hotel's side as they contact you before the stay with various practical check-in info etc.
The only small minus was that the evening dining option expected at the hotel (it was one of the reasons why we chose the place) was not possible, as they were unexpectedly without a "chef de cuisine"
But we are betting on it being in place again another good time, as we can easily find ourselves staying there again:)
I come to the castle - completely empty no one to help check in - instructions is very unclear.
The place is desserted and neglected.
Walk into the room cobwebs everywhere as if no one has stayed there in weeks. The place smells like an old ghost town. No food in the hotel as well
I couldn’t even stay the night. We checked out a half hour after we got there.
I would stay away
We have had a wonderful stay at the chateau.
The whole is very charmingly decorated. And you can can take a nice walk around the state. We had a nice dinner on a friday night at the restaurant of the chateau. Very convenient. There are a few communal areas, excellent when you put your kid to sleep in the room and can relax in the adjacent room on the sofa. Some points of attention: 1) some rooms have a shared toilet in the corridor. 2) the breakfast is very basic, doesn't look like the breakfast in the advertised photos at all.
