"This rustic bed and breakfast in the rolling farmlands near Loches was great. It is not a modern hotel, so if that's what you're looking for go elsewhere. The grounds are beautiful and serene. Maryvonne Baillou is a gracious hostess who provided great information on local must-see spots. The furnishings are truly antique while the mattresses are modern. "The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."
