"Make staying here a priority for your northern Portugal trip. It provides an amazing haven and break from the rush of travel. The grounds and village are heaven. Impeccably kept. The staff is kind, attentive, caring. The food is gourmet and local for extremely good value. The views are rejuvenating. The pools and sauna were spacious, clean and refreshing. "Great location and excellent room. Very surprised to stay in an Ibis that had so much character. Breakfast was also very good and the breakfast room has glass floors that allow a view to the old city underground—very cool. Would stay again and highly recommend. "
