I loved that this property was quiet and off the beaten path, but was so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. The house was clean and well kept. We would stay there again!
A Great Place from which to tour Mackinaw City and the UP
The location is great and the property fit us perfectly. The rooms were very clean and organized, the kitchen was well stocked, and the living area was very comfortable. The location was perfect and easy to find.
We had the best family vacation here. The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. We were able to kick back and enjoy a campfire or two with s’mores and tons of laughter! The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed! Big thank you
This is a great property if you are looking to do the Labor Day Mackinac Bridgewalk. About 15 minute drive to Mackinac City. Our family of eight adults really enjoyed this place. It was very clean and well-maintained. The outdoor fire pit was a big plus for cool September evenings. Definitely would stay here again. Highly recommend.
Great property for day tripping all over the area. Prefect with minimal items for kids to get into but they all got their own bed. Area outside is woodchipped so great for passing catch. We would certainly good back and use of we end up in the area again.
Every year we stay in a hotel in St Ignace for our annual trip to Mackinac Island and Crisp Point. With 2 adults and 2 newly adult children space was definitely needed. We needed more room. Your house was perfect. We'll stocked, clean and was more relaxing then squeezing into a hotel each night after our adventures. We will be back!
This was a very clean and well-equipped property. It was clearly new, but the hosts considered all our needs. We used the fire pit every night. It was handy to Mackinaw as well as to Cheboygan and the west side of the peninsula.
My husband and I just wanted a nice quiet getaway and this was perfect. Atmosphere was perfect it snowed so we got some nice outdoor pictures taken. Location of home to Cheboygan for food shopping and Mackinaw city to visit the park and see the mighty Mac was extremely convenient. We have stayed here three times so far and just love it. Feels like home the home is always super clean and communication with the company freshwater is always fantastic and they have a quick response time. We will for sure be back hopefully soon 😁
We absolutely love this location! They had everything we needed and more. I had family in from different states. We were able to have a bonfire and watch the Northern lights directly above our heads! We took a short trip to the Dark Park as well. We also spent the day on Mackinac Island. What wondBontiThyouflights directly above our heads
4 adults and 2 kids (4 and 9) stayed memorial weekend - We spent time in both Cheboygan and Mackinac City - perfect location for us. House was super clean. Everything we needed was there. Beds are very comfortable - I did bring my own pillows. We had a couple bonfires, grilled and just spent time relaxing. The kids had plenty of room to roam outside and there were games inside as well - we had a little bit of rain. Overall EXCELLENT home to stay in and we will definitely be back for hopefully a longer stay next time!
Place was great very clean we brought our two dogs with us on this trip, and they had dog bowls available for us one had water in it already for them from the long drive when we arrived. We brought our own but appreciated that they had some available incase we forgot. The setting was nice home was surrounded by trees they had a fire pit and chairs set up in the side yard but sadly it rained every day during our stay, so we did not get to use it. We did use the propane grill a couple nights to make our dinner which was nice. It was a quick drive into downtown area of Cheboygan to go shopping or pick up a pizza. all in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

The listing did not state exactly how remote the location was. The house is located on a gravel road in an extremely remote location. The street number had fallen down making it difficult to find the house as the house is not visible from the rural road. The house itself was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and spacious. There were six women in our group. We would not stay there again because of the remote location. There is no security system which concerned us, again because of the remote location.
One of the best VRBO properties we’ve ever had the privilege of staying. Very clean and comfortable for our stay. We would definitely love to stay here again.
My siblings and I decided to make a trip up to visit Mackinac island and stayed in Cheboygen. We enjoyed the quiet retreat and amenities. The fire pit, wood and abundance of coffee was a nice touch. It was very clean and comfortable.
Excellent home. It was exactly as pictured and we were impressed with the extra little amenities provided. Tried to extend our stay but it was already rented.
We’ve been making our way around MI coastal towns and happened upon this house for our trip to Cheboygan. The house was great; nice, new, all the amenities. Only complaint, the wi-fi coverage wasn’t great and the internet connection was spotty, and that is kind of expected given the location. Otherwise everything was great.
