"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. "Very clean, owner welcoming. windows are unable to be opened due to the scaffolding around the building, but this was the only flaw. Rooms are simple and comfy, aircon was a welcomed amenity. Close to MTR links, cafes, restaurants and shops. The outside looks a little intimidating but there is 24/7 security and everything is only accessible by keycard. I felt very safe and would return to AMU Dreamhouse. Thank you for a lovely stay."
