"We paid for a superior king bed, but got two beds shoved together, loosely, that one could fall between. The room shower was hot and fast, rarity nowadays. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options."

"Brand new hotel with amazing staff who actually seem happy to help. The rooms are clean, smart, look nice and come equipped with everything. Great location as we were going to the O2 for a concert. Amazing restaurants all around. And it felt safe and quiet. If you’re staying in Canary Wharf, it’s definitely worth booking here!"

"Great location - very handy to the Tower Hill tube station and walking along the Thames. Great sized room with excellent storage and lovely bathroom. I would definitely request a room facing the Tower of London because the other side of the hotel view isn't great. Unfortunately room wasn't as photographed. Lacked soft furnishings, a rug (was hard flooring), cushions, sofa etc - basically nothing as pictured. When I mentioned this to the manager he said it was the Expedia photos but I then checked the hotel's website, and the same photos were loaded as Expedia. Bed was extremely hard - very uncomfortable and colleagues of ours staying mentioned the same. "Like sleeping on plywood" their words not mine. Hotel said they would put a mattress topper on the bed, but was in the end just a duvet underneath. Very easy things to fix Tower Suites!! Otherwise it would have been great. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good."

"Perfect room size, very clean and a unique, fun layout. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spa was lovely and fortunately quiet."

"It started very badly with Satnav sending us to a pedestrianised deadend at the waterfront. However with telephone assistance from the Ark staff we eventually found the entrance which is set back from the road. We stayed in a tiny double bed studio, probably the smallest we have ever seen. It was however perfect for our stay and was very well fitted out and spotless. The pool and spa was stunning and with incredible views from the 20th floor to the O2. Staff qere helpful, lifts a high tech joy and all in all extremely good value. Access to all areas via the adjacent light railway station was a huge benefit for getting around. We would stay again and now we know where the entrance is it will be even better!"

"The room was clean overall, but I experienced a few issues during my stay. There was a very loud water noise in the room, and the TV was not working on the first night. When I contacted reception, I was informed that no maintenance staff was available overnight and that I would need to wait until the next day. Eventually, around 11 PM, I requested and received a room change. Otherwise everything was perfect. Location was amazing with thames river view and 2 minutes walking to Bus stop."
