"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay."

"We had a wonderful time at this location, seeing hot air balloons each evening overhead, eating meals outside, swimming in the pool, and enjoying the wine from the organic vineyard next door. The building is well maintained, historic, and quiet. The location is excellent for accessing chateaus, biking trails, markets, and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful with information about the area. Highly recommend!"

"This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. The cottage was comfortable, warm and suited our needs as a couple. Deborah provided easy instructions and a warm greeting when we arrived. St Aignan has enough facilities, including food options. "Both immersed into the nature and easily connected to any of the surrounding attractions (e.g. the many castles, the beautiful Beauval zoo, etc.), the accomodation has anything an average family with children could desire. Definitely recommended!"

"We really enjoyed our trip to the Loire Valley, the area is really in the countryside and lovely and peaceful. The cottage was clean, well equipped and roomy. We had some good trips out to Blois (the Chateau is really nice) and the town had some good shops, Clos Luce Parc (which is where Leonardo da Vinci lived), this was very popular with school trips etc. and is well worth a visit, as was Orleans (for shops etc.). We had a good day out also at the Zoo Parc de Beauval, not cheap but well...

"Petit gîte idéal si l'on souhaite se ressourcer car très calme. Comme indiqué dans l'annonce : attention aux escaliers qui sont très, très raides. Pas idéal donc avec des personnes âgées et des enfants en bas âge. L'annonce indique 4 personnes max et effectivement je trouve que 4 personnes c'est un maximum pour profiter agréablement du gîte.
