"Booked the connecting room for a family of four (2 adults, 10y & 7y). We stayed one night to break up travelling further south from England. Was exactly what we were hoping for, rural and quiet. Rooms were big, staff could not be more helpful and breakfast was lovely."

Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. "A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful.
