"Canadian Tourists Review : Attracted by staying in one of the biggest and most unique hotel complex in the world, we decided to stay at the InterContinental Chengdu Global Centre by IHG. We wanted a unique view overlooking the water park with a terrace. The rooms / hallways were spacious and cozy. Special note to how quiet the hotel was since there were thick, well maintained carpets everywhere. Right when we entered the reception, we were welcomed by an English / French speaking Service Attendant / Butler that helped us get familiar with the complex and made sure she was reachable at all times over chat. The complex location itself is near some of the most amazing night time locations all within walking distance! You will be amazed by the engineering and modern design of the parks, shops and landmarks. As for the hotel itself, she is a grand attraction with lots of charm and comfort, but is also starting to show her age. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated visiting the marvel in architecture. "

"Beautiful Hotel. Love all the curves in the lobby and in the rooms. I had requested an early check-in and this was accommodated. Staff went above and beyond. Even sending someone to my room with ice for a foot injury, and to take a room service order after translating the menu into English for me. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There is no restaurant in the hotel for dinner. But one is immediately adjacent. Room itself was large, dark, and quiet for sleeping. Comfortable bed. The large free standing bathtub was perfect for soaking, great amenities and lots of bottled water available. The hotel offers "Wonderful Rooms" and "Spectacular Rooms". When I asked about the difference, I was told that the spectacular rooms had a better view. Highly recommend. "

"Want to say that this was an exceptional stay at the Fairmont Chengdu The modern Luxury style as shown in the photos and the location of this hotel with the metro being a few meters away appeal to me and it truly befits the premium Fairmont brand it is the staff that have made my recent 6 day stay so memorable. Each mender of the team that I have met was friendly, welcoming and no request was to difficult In particular want to mention the outstanding service offered by the Gold l lounge team Evelyn, June, Mia and Donna They went way and above their duty to ensure that my Vegetarian dietary need where met. Also want to mention he Front desk team Adam and Jeanne for also providing and exceptional service that always welcoming and friendly I highly recommend Fairmont Chengdu any person visiting Chengdu "

"Great stay with Waldorf! It has a big mall beside that meets all basic food needs. Special mention to Miya, who often superb recommendation and check in with us regularly during our stay. Only downside is the location of the hotel which is slightly far out from downtown but it not an issue with didi easily available. "

"Beautiful place. Amazing food. Gorgeous staff (women and men alike) and all are kind and respectful and clean and helpful. All have translation apps and try genuinely their best to communicate in English with me without sounding like it's a chore. One recommendation I would add is clear restaurant sifns\brands labels with map guide with "you are here" markers\checkpoints. I spent hours trying to find the entrance to the cafe and Italian Bistro after already trying the 5th floor restaurants. And the hotel is huge. If there was supposed to be a trail outside, o couldn't find it due to lack of signs. But i am only nitpicking because I needed any excuse to enjoy the lazy 5 star life instead of walking around :)"
