Elk Crossing On Lower Clam Lake

Elk Crossing On Lower Clam Lake

10/10 Excellent
"The stay was nice and the location was perfect. The place is definitely vintage feeling with many original fixtures and appliances, but we liked it. It was a warm weekend and only one wall air conditioning unit upstairs, so it was a little difficult to regulate the temperature. Thankfully there were plenty of fans to set up and love air around. The place had everything needed to have a great weekend."

Chequamegon Acres 2-bedroom cabin just outside of Clam Lake, Direct trail access

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at the cabin! We fit our family of four plus our Morkie very comfortably. The indoor decor was rustic and quaint, perfect for the Northwoods! The entire cabin was very clean and we loved how many linens and towels were provided. The location was private but within driving distance to Hayward and Cable, where we spent some day trips. Loved the firepit area and the firewood available on site (for a reasonable fee). Would recommend staying at this property!"

Cabin right on the water! All bikers, skiers, fisherman, and more welcome!

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I were very pleased with our visit! As an older couple (some would say we are an "elderly couple!), we appreciated the fact that we could dock our fishing boat just a few feet away! All the furnishings were very clean, and the cabin was provided with everything we thought we would have to bring for our stay! Only thing missing was an ice cream scoop! This was our first time on this lake and we had more success than the past 30 years fishing on another popular lake/resort! Our daughter and granddaughter joined us for three nights and we all had a blast celebrating our granddaughter's birthday! The cabin is cozy, but was perfect for the four of us! Next visit we will know that we will not need to bring as much, as again, it is well-furnished! Great host - very responsive! Neighbors were very nice also!"

8/10 Good
"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Hidey-Ho in early August. This property is my dream retirement home! Very secluded and private in the middle of the woods. Absolutely gorgeous location. The home was spacious and the screened porch a perfect spot to get out of the sun but still enjoy the warm weather and breeze. The lake was great for musky fishing. I would highly recommend the cabin and would definitely book again!"
